To achieve the most even, natural-looking glow, a little prep goes a long way. Follow these simple steps before your session:
24 Hours Before Your Spray Tan:

Exfoliate thoroughly to remove dead skin cells and create a smooth, even base.

Shave or wax at least 12–24 hours prior to your appointment to avoid irritation.
The Day of Your Spray Tan:

Shower with mild soap and skip heavy lotions, oils, deodorants, and perfumes — they can block the solution from developing evenly.

Wear loose, dark clothing and open footwear to prevent rubbing off your tan.

Remove jewelry and tie hair up or back.
After Your Spray Tan:

Avoid showering, sweating, or getting wet for a minimum of 12 hours to allow full color development.

When you do shower, use lukewarm water and a gentle, sulfate-free cleanser — no scrubbing.

Moisturize daily to extend the life of your tan and ensure an even fade.
Important Notes:

Do not use any Dove-branded products — including body wash, bar soap, or lotions — before or after your spray tan. These products can alter the color of your tan and cause it to fade unevenly or remove the solution entirely, even after development.
